Attention all Artery.ca Members!

We here at the Artery invite you to participate in our first community wide project, Hang’em High. This project has two potential products, an Unreal Mod that we will hopefully enter into the “$1 Million Make Something Unreal Contest” and a “Making of” art book.

The goal of this project is to further the skills of the individuals involved and to gain experience in game development methodologies. Artery mod team members will include concept artists, modelers, animators, scripters and designers.

The team will be chosen from among those who signal their interest by the moderators, beginning work on March 1st,2009. Assistance will be required from various disciplines over the course of the project, so there is no deadline to apply to join the team. We will communicate regularly; members are expected to meet deadlines and conduct their work in as professional a manner possible. You must also be willing to have fun and push your creative boundaries a little!

To participate, you need to be a member of the Artery, and able to contribute in some capacity as part of the mod –making team. Decisions on participation and eligibility are at the sole discretion of the participating Artery.ca moderators. Please contact Jason Elliott through PM or email at jelliott (at) artery.ca if you have any questions.

The mod team must deliver their work to Epic in accordance with the schedule set forth in the competition guidelines on Epic’s website: http://www.makesomethingunreal.com/

All content developed and accepted for this project will become property of the Artery.ca. Additional rules and regulations will be announced to participating members during the development process. Thanks everyone and we look forward to hearing from you!
